SAMSUNG NEWSROOM | Hong Kong's Lifestyle TV 'The Frame' for Digital Art

Samsung Electronics has partnered with Hong Kong's 'SHOUT Gallery' to hold 'The Frame Digital Art Gala', a digital art exhibition using lifestyle TV 'The Frame' until the end of the year.

Shout Gallery is famous as the largest contemporary art gallery in Hong Kong, and through this collaboration, it is the first in Hong Kong to provide a ‘one-stop digital canvas solution’ from digital art purchase to installation.

Samsung Electronics installed a total of 40 ‘The Frame TV’ from the entrance of Shout Gallery located in ‘Hysen Place’, a large shopping mall in Hong Kong to the main exhibition hall, and displayed various digital art works.

This exhibition, co-planned with young artists for the development of local art, includes Szabotage, Wing Chan, Lolohoihoi, Eric Chow, Leon Lollipop, etc. You can see works by artists who are highly preferred by art collectors.

Visitors can appreciate more realistically the works of artists who maximize the synergy between art and pop culture with The Frame in the form of a frame.

These works are sold on-site together with The Frame as a package, and a magnetic bezel for The Frame with the artist's signature is also provided.

The 2022 model year The Frame is equipped with a 'Matte Display' to reduce light reflection so that you can enjoy works in clear picture quality even under bright lighting or in the middle of the day. In addition, it provides a comfortable viewing experience with 'Eye Comfort Mode', which recognizes the surrounding brightness and blocks blue light.

In addition, the bezel of various colors can be easily attached and detached, so you can enjoy the interior effect like a picture frame.

Shout Art Hub & Gallery's founder, Christopher Tang, said, "I would like to express my gratitude to Samsung Electronics for supporting the exhibition and working together to advance the technological advancement of various digital arts." It shows their unique personality well.”

Il-Kyung Sung, Vice President of Visual Display Business at Samsung Electronics, said, “I am delighted to be able to help the development of digital art and support more artists through our continued partnership with Shout Art Hub & Gallery. We will try our best to innovate in technology and discover various partnerships so that we can deliver it to customers.”
